Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rom FC's Emiliano Negri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Rom FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Rolo's Attilio Salerno got a free kick in the 19th minute. Frank Venditti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Tristezza in the 22nd minute of play. Rolo's Adriano Palumbo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabrizio Quadrini hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Emiliano Negri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmine Cammarota in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Carmine Cammarota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adriano Palumbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Palumbo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Carmine Cammarota came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Rolo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmine Cammarota couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The Rolo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rom FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
