Spartak Jambo's Camillo Frezza got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Spartak Jambo's Bruno Festuccia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Davide Ascenzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bruno Festuccia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Ascenzi having to interfere. Camillo Frezza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciccio Giorgi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Davide Ascenzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Aquilino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 minutes of play, Spartak Jambo's Bruno Festuccia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davide Ascenzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Spartak Jambo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Andrea Bani hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Bianco Battista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Invictus's supporters rose to their feet, but Bianco Battista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Maldini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Invictus's Davide Ascenzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Festuccia in the 34th minute of play. Bruno Festuccia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Ascenzi having to interfere. If Camillo Frezza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davide Ascenzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Festuccia, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Frezza in the 46th minute of play forced Invictus's goalkeeper Davide Ascenzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudio Aquilino to strike the kick off in the second half. Camillo Frezza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Ascenzi having to interfere. Bruno Festuccia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Spartak Jambo's Camillo Frezza got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 59 minutes, Alfonso Baldassarre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spartak Jambo and the Invictus players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camillo Frezza in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davide Ascenzi saved Invictus from getting behind. When Camillo Frezza came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Spartak Jambo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camillo Frezza couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Invictus's goalkeeper Davide Ascenzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bruno Festuccia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Ascenzi having to interfere. Invictus's Davide Ascenzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Frezza in the 74th minute of play. Invictus's Davide Ascenzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Invictus from getting a goal against them. Eraldo Morelli, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Davide Ascenzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo Frezza in the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Camillo Frezza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Invictus's Davide Ascenzi got control of the ball when Bruno Festuccia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camillo Frezza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Davide Ascenzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Concetto Minicucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Spartak Jambo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
