The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Sanna during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Arena FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Molinari. In the 14th minute Cristoforo Cappucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Guidoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Gambini in the 17th minute of play forced Fc Marcianise's goalkeeper Christian Guidoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniele Gambini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Fc Marcianise getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Carmine Palmieri hit a great ball. After 23 played minutes, Arena FC's Edmondo Di Lorenzo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Guidoni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arena FC reached it. Daniele Gambini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristoforo Cappucci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Guidoni having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniele Gambini in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Guidoni saved Fc Marcianise from getting behind. If Daniele Gambini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Sanna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Sanna might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Cesareo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristiano Sanna ran back to his position shaking his head. Donato Cesareo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Carmine Palmieri sent off a good shot on target. Cristiano Sanna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arena FC's zone, Carmine Palmieri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Cesareo came out of the goal and Carmine Palmieri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Guidoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Gambini, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Cristoforo Cappucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Guidoni having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Eugenio Granati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmine Palmieri scored 1-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Cesareo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristoforo Cappucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Guidoni having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Cristoforo Cappucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arena FC's zone, Eugenio Granati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Cesareo came out of the goal and Eugenio Granati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Guidoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Gambini in the 73rd minute of the match. Fc Marcianise's Christian Guidoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Gambini in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Daniele Gambini fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristoforo Cappucci got free with Christian Guidoni in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cristiano Sanna came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Fc Marcianise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Sanna couldn't finish the play. Eugenio Granati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Donato Cesareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fc Marcianise's Christian Guidoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Gambini in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fc Marcianise's Cristiano Sanna got a free kick in the 89th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Arena FC's Daniele Gambini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christian Guidoni. That made the score 1-1 after 91 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Gambini in the 95th minute of play forced Fc Marcianise's goalkeeper Christian Guidoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Guidoni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristoforo Cappucci in the 97th minute. Despite being the better team, Fc Marcianise failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
