Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alberigo Scatena got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Riva Verde AFC's Demetrio Mazza got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Alberigo Scatena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 7 minutes into the match, Riva Verde AFC's goalkeeper Enrico Cherubini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domenico Conti. If Alberigo Scatena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Lucchetta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Finocchi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Riva Verde AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Scatena came free, but Enrico Cherubini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberigo Scatena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Enrico Cherubini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Contis short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Enrico Cherubini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Riva Verde AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Davide Melis hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberigo Scatena in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrico Cherubini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domenico Conti might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrico Cherubini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domenico Conti ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Axa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Finocchi came free, but Cristiano Lucchetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ferruccio Bardella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Axa FC's zone, Demetrio Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Lucchetta came out of the goal and Demetrio Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Axa FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Riva Verde AFC:s goal. Alberigo Scatena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrico Cherubini having to make a save. After the first half Riva Verde AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dino Finocchi made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Riva Verde AFC's zone, Domenico Conti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrico Cherubini came out of the goal and Domenico Conti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the game, Concetto Grilli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riva Verde AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Axa FC the free kick. A collision led to Riva Verde AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Concetto Grilli hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domenico Conti in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrico Cherubini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Riva Verde AFC's Davide Melis got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Domenico Conti made a precise shot to the right of Enrico Cherubini. Riva Verde AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to Riva Verde AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ferruccio Bardella hit a great ball. Alberigo Scatena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute, Florian Piscopo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demetrio Mazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Cristiano Lucchetta made a huge save. Axa FC's Alberigo Scatena got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Axa FC booed when Riva Verde AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Bardella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrico Cherubini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Conti, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Riva Verde AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Scatena came free, but Enrico Cherubini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demetrio Mazza got free with Cristiano Lucchetta in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristiano Lucchetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Finocchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Alberigo Scatena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Axa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberigo Scatena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Riva Verde AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
