Corrado Sarnelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Mazza in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Tottenham getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Carlo Abete hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demetrio Mazza in the 29th minute of play forced Tottenham's goalkeeper Corrado Sarnelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Riva Verde AFC's goalkeeper Enrico Cherubini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Corrado Sarnelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Finocchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Dino Finocchi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Finocchi couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Bruno Pietropaolo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Taglieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Cherubini having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Riva Verde AFC got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Mazza. Dino Finocchi kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Riva Verde AFC's Dino Finocchi in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Riva Verde AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
