If Kajetan Murdza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th match minute, Montepegli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Mastrangelo to maneuver through the defense. After 10 minutes, Anselmo Nelli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montepegli and the Ribera players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Montepegli's Anselmo Nelli got a free kick in the 10th minute. Fortunato Tagliente kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Gil D'Agata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Mastrangelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonello Di Fabrizio kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Felice Trasatti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alfonso Dominici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfonso Dominici didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kajetan Murdza went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Fortunato Tagliente reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alfonso Dominici. The goal made the score 3-0. Alfonso Dominici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Antonangeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ribera's Kajetan Murdza got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Beppe Carosella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Dominici. Montepegli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beppe Carosella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beppe Carosella was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Ribera got a corner. Montepegli's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Corrado Bonelli ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Ribera booed when Montepegli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Tarquini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Beppe Carosella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Alfonso Dominici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 61 minutes, Fortunato Tagliente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ribera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortunato Tagliente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Montepegli defense, Beppe Carosella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Dominici. The Montepegli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Dominici should have stopped the shot. Felice Trasatti struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Alfonso Dominici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ribera. After a rather tough play, Montepegli's Anselmo Nelli got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Attilio Salemme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Alfonso Dominici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Montepegli's zone, Felice Trasatti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Dominici came out of the goal and Felice Trasatti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristoforo Spada scored 7-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Dominici, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Montepegli's Anselmo Nelli got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Beppe Carosella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montepegli's Alfonso Dominici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfonso Dominici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Trasatti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kajetan Murdza struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Alfonso Dominici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ribera. Ribera walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
