Angelo Iannone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the game, DOMINICAN's Andrea Baruffa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 29 minutes, Dario Nicolini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DOMINICAN and the Marano 1914 Spa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Marano 1914 Spa booed when DOMINICAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Nicolini didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 minutes, Arrigo Alfani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marano 1914 Spa and the DOMINICAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Marano 1914 Spa got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Alfani. After 32 played minutes Marano 1914 Spa got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Martano. Comunardo Ragusa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Martano in the 37th minute of the match. When Andrea Baruffa came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the DOMINICAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrea Baruffa couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Arrigo Borromeo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Comunardo Ragusa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marano 1914 Spa. In the 57th minute, Cosimo Martano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, DOMINICAN's Emiliano Di Palma got a free kick in the 59th minute. Fulvio Antonacci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute of the match, Cosimo Martano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Comunardo Ragusa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 73 played minutes, DOMINICAN's Ciccio Gigli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diego Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
