Lavello FC's Claudio Senatore got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Bravo in the 18th minute of play forced Lavello FC's goalkeeper Ermanno Di Paolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Scaltenigo FC's Anfilogino Bravo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermanno Di Paolo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Scaltenigo FC's attentive Arturo Mastronardi managed to snatch the ball when Ermanno Colella made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Anfilogino Bravo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ermanno Di Paolo. Lavello FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anfilogino Bravo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 26th minute, Anfilogino Bravo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scaltenigo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 29th minute, Demetrio Di Giandomenico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 33 minutes, Anfilogino Bravo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scaltenigo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anfilogino Bravo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After taking down the ball on Scaltenigo FC's corner Amedeo Muzi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ermanno Di Paolo quite easily take care of the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Armando Bergomi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ermanno Di Paolo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anfilogino Bravo to strike the kick off in the second half. Lavello FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Anfilogino Bravo scored to the left of an out of position Ermanno Di Paolo, making the score, 0-4. In the 60th minute Anfilogino Bravo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermanno Di Paolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Armando Bergomi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ermanno Di Paolo. Ermanno Di Paolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Muzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Scaltenigo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amedeo Muzi in the 70th minute. Amedeo Muzi made a great header on Scaltenigo FC's corner, it was just that Lavello FC's Ermanno Di Paolo managed to reach the ball for a save. Ermanno Di Paolo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Bravo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Alfonso Romanese lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Ermanno Di Paolo. Ermanno Di Paolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Bravo in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lavello FC's Antonello Brini got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Anfilogino Bravo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ermanno Di Paolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scaltenigo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
