Aurelio Monti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercole Antico, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Emilio Chioda came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Marina Romea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Chioda couldn't finish the play. After 28 played minutes SQUADRA IN ORBITA got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Pantalone. 29 minutes into the match, SQUADRA IN ORBITA's goalkeeper Aurelio Monti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Chioda. Aurelio Monti acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Carter Penna. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Lo Iacono was the one to do the kick off. Alessandro Larizza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernesto Lo Iacono went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 62nd match minute, Marina Romea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Balzani to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Ernesto Lo Iacono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the SQUADRA IN ORBITA defense, Ercole Antico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Monti. The SQUADRA IN ORBITA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Monti should have stopped the shot. Emilio Chioda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SQUADRA IN ORBITA's zone, Emilio Chioda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Monti came out of the goal and Emilio Chioda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Marina Romea booed when SQUADRA IN ORBITA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Danza didn't get a good kick on the ball.
