Claudio Spinelli hit a great ball. A hard shot by Anselmo Corsi from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Frank Diana's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Frank Diana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murillo Zabalo went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Murillo Zabalo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Frank Diana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Demetrio Mariano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Spinelli in the 35th minute of play. Attilio Di Fabrizio hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Murillo Zabalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Claudio Spinelli made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Fc Inter got a freekick which was hit by Amos Polo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonello Di Fabio in the 54th minute of play forced Fc Inter's goalkeeper Frank Diana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Venditti kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 58 minutes, Attilio Di Fabrizio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Inter and the Stalingrado players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Fc Inter got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Di Fabrizio. With a little luck, Stalingrado's Demetrio Mariano got control of the ball when Attilio Di Fabrizio tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Claudio Spinelli put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Demetrio Mariano. 77 minutes into the match, Stalingrado's goalkeeper Demetrio Mariano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Attilio Di Fabrizio. In the 81st minute of the match Christian Marzulli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frank Diana skillfully saved the ball. Murillo Zabalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Stalingrado manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Fc Inter to win.
