But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camillo Silvestre couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. In the 77thth minute of the game Camillo Silvestre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poiano's Augusto Grande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Poiano's Cristiano Palomba got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Camillo Silvestre notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Poiano's Augusto Grande. Augusto Grande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Camillo Silvestre put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Augusto Grande. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camillo Silvestre in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Grande saved Poiano from getting behind. A collision led to Poiano getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Cristiano Palomba hit a great ball. Augusto Grande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Corna in the 89th minute of the match. Carmine Corna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Augusto Grande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Poiano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Smurgo United.
