Angelo Falasca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Gagliano, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Marcon FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Di Fabrizio made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Clitoridense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Mazzini to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Clitoridense fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! Aurelio Di Fabrizio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Angelo Falasca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Angelo Falasca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marcon FC. If Aurelio Di Fabrizio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Di Fabrizio in the 88th minute of play forced Clitoridense's goalkeeper Angelo Falasca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcon FC's Fausto Verdini suffered a sprained foot after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 94 minutes, Carlo Verdini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clitoridense and the Marcon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcon FC made a substitution. Bernardo Orioli replaced Fausto Verdini. The supporters of Marcon FC booed when Clitoridense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Verdini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcon FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
