Fedele Riva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Falasca having to interfere. In the 5th match minute, Clitoridense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Verdini to maneuver through the defense. Clitoridense's Angelo Falasca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Riva in the 6th minute of play. Fedele Riva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fedele Riva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the game, Carlo Verdini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clitoridense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pozzo the free kick. In the 15th minute, Carlo Verdini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franco De Fina during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Clitoridense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco De Fina to maneuver through the defense. Carlo Verdini hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damiano Spinelli in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Falasca saved Clitoridense from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Pozzo's Damiano Spinelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Falasca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fedele Riva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franco De Fina was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Franco De Fina kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Fedele Riva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th minute, Pozzo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carlo Verdini fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Dario Mazzini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Mazzini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Clitoridense's Carlo Verdini got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Carlo Verdini off the ground. The supporters of Pozzo booed when Clitoridense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Verdini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pozzo's Anthony Treglia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Clitoridense. In the 58th minute of the match Anthony Treglia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Falasca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Fedele Riva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fedele Riva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Angelo Falasca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damiano Spinelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Falasca having to interfere. The supporters of Pozzo booed when Clitoridense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Mazzini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Pozzo's Damiano Spinelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Falasca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Fedele Riva came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Pozzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fedele Riva couldn't finish the play. Angelo Falasca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damiano Spinelli in the 79th minute. After 86 played minutes Pozzo got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Volponi. In the 88th minute Dario Mazzini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Cauli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Ercole Lauro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Cauli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Damiano Spinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Angelo Falasca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pozzo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Clitoridense.
