Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Emanuele Carnevale threw the ball into play from the sideline. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 10 minutes, Adriano Rapone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Rocco AFC and the Virtus Piaggiola players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Adriano Rapone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldo Tesone struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Claudio Antonini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Rocco AFC. 14 minutes into the match, Virtus Piaggiola's goalkeeper Claudio Antonini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Tesone. Anthony Gaspari kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Alvaro Dominici shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for San Rocco AFC's Alessandro Farina to catch but Alvaro Dominici was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Enzo Lemma received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudio Antonini came out and tried to block the shot, but Enzo Lemma slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 22nd minute. Enzo Lemma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Antonini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Lemma, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Virtus Piaggiola's Claudio Antonini got control of the ball when Aldo Tesone tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute, Aldo Tesone reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudio Antonini. The goal made the score 2-1. 38 minutes into the game, Enzo Lemma recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claudio Antonini. Enzo Lemma showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. After 46 minutes of play, San Rocco AFC's Aldo Tesone made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudio Antonini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmondo Di Ruscio made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, San Rocco AFC's Enzo Lemma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudio Antonini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Emanuele Carnevale threw the ball into play from the sideline. Claudio Antonini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Virtus Piaggiola's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Tesone came free, but Claudio Antonini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aldo Tesone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Enzo Lemma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Antonini was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. San Rocco AFC fully deserved thier win.
