Camillo Foni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Frank Negrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessandro Sciascia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Torre Del Moro's Enrico Cauli got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Lizzi in the 16th minute of play forced San Prospero FC's goalkeeper Elia Sardella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Zollino struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Elia Sardella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torre Del Moro. Torre Del Moro's Frank Negrini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Torre Del Moro from getting a goal against them. After 33 played minutes San Prospero FC got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Palma. If Fabiano Lizzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Lizzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Sardella having to interfere. A collision led to Torre Del Moro getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Felice Pesce hit a great ball. San Prospero FC's Camillo Foni got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessandro Sciascia was the one to do the kick off. Frank Negrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Foni in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Diego Zollino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torre Del Moro's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Zollino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elia Sardella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alessandro Sciascia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Negrini having to interfere. Diego Zollino's late challenge caught a San Prospero FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Zollino helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Torre Del Moro's Diego Zollino got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Alessandro Sciascia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 78 minutes, Diego Zollino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torre Del Moro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Zollino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Negrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo Foni in the 82nd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The San Prospero FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Torre Del Moro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
