After recieving a nice pass, Monza AFC's Alvaro De Palma tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pizzocalvo AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! 20 minutes into the match, Pizzocalvo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Marcon came free, but Domenico Longo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Marcon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes in the game, Carlo Volponi dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 27th minute Carlo Volponi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Longo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pizzocalvo AFC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Bernardo Rocchi hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, Pizzocalvo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beppe Juliano to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pizzocalvo AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Frank De Sanctis hit a great ball. Domenico Longo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Volponi in the 37th minute of the match. Monza AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alvaro De Palma in the 39th minute. Alvaro Renzi made a great header on Monza AFC's corner, it was just that Pizzocalvo AFC's Domenico Longo managed to reach the ball for a save. If Carlo Volponi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domenico Longo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Volponi in the 46th minute of the match. The Pizzocalvo AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Monza AFC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felice De Tommasi to strike the kick off in the second half. When Alessandro Marcon came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Monza AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Marcon couldn't finish the play. Monza AFC's Alvaro Renzi got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Carlo Volponi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monza AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Volponi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenico Longo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th match minute, Pizzocalvo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Rocchi to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pizzocalvo AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Claudio Ferrara hit a great ball. Monza AFC's Alessandro Marcon got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Carlo Volponi got free in front of the goal in the 73rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Domenico Longo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Pizzocalvo AFC's Domenico Longo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Volponi in the 76th minute of play. Carlo Volponi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Domenico Longo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonello Capaldo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Monza AFC booed when Pizzocalvo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Capaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alessandro Marcons short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Domenico Longo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Monza AFC's Alvaro De Palma got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Beppe Juliano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Monza AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
