In the 11th minute Alvaro Minicucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Palomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Juntevus's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo De Angelis came free, but Carmine Ferretti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmine Ferretti was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dino Rossetti. The audience was convinced that Camillo De Angelis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmine Ferretti was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Camillo De Angelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Ferretti having to interfere. Cosimo Negri shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The supporters of ARMATA BRANCALEONE booed when Juntevus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Napoleoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmine Ferretti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo De Angelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Angelucci in the 51st minute of play forced Juntevus's goalkeeper Carmine Ferretti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmine Ferretti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo De Angelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlo Gerola's late challenge caught a ARMATA BRANCALEONE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the Juntevus defense, Bruno Angelucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmine Ferretti. The Juntevus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmine Ferretti should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ARMATA BRANCALEONE had played much better football throughout.
