After 6 played minutes Calvizzano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Banana. 7 minutes into the match, Calvizzano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Mazzocco came free, but Donato Aureli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alfredo Mazzocco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Campana in the 11th minute of play forced Calvizzano AFC's goalkeeper Donato Aureli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Mazzocco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Mazzocco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Aureli having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Chieri AFC's Ferruccio Campana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Aureli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferruccio Campana scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Aureli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute Ferruccio Campana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Aureli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuele Foddis hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Mazzocco in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Aureli saved Calvizzano AFC from getting behind. In the 47th minute Ferruccio Campana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Aureli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A hard shot by Alfredo Mazzocco from long distance, 51 minutes into the match, got Donato Aureli's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Aldo Di Cesare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Alessandro Biscotti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Di Cesare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferruccio Campana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Donato Aureli made a huge save. Ferruccio Campana received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donato Aureli came out and tried to block the shot, but Ferruccio Campana slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 90th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chieri AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
