The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rubert Flyger helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Quercioli's Rubert Flyger got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute of the match Anthony Boninsegna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filippo Volpe skillfully saved the ball. The Cornaiano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cornaiano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
