Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ettore Di Camillo kicked off to start the match. Sebastian Akram took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alessio Pelliccioni. Alessio Pelliccioni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 6th minute, Alessandro Topatigh reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alessio Pelliccioni. The goal made the score 2-0. Ettore Di Camillo's late challenge caught a RadioShack-Syracusae's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ettore Di Camillo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Ettore Di Camillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Frank Pugliese made a precise shot to the right of Alessio Pelliccioni. Feletto Umberto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Feletto Umberto's zone, Frank Pugliese stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessio Pelliccioni came out of the goal and Frank Pugliese tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Pugliese got free with Alessio Pelliccioni in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Pugliese who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Alessio Pelliccioni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. RadioShack-Syracusae's Fabiano Alfani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Di Camillo in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Bruno Della Francesca made a precise shot to the right of Fabiano Alfani. RadioShack-Syracusae's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Akram was the one to do the kick off. Alessio Pelliccioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Pugliese in the 54th minute of the match. Fabiano Alfani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Di Camillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciccio Fioriti scored 6-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alessio Pelliccioni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Della Francesca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabiano Alfani came out and tried to block the shot, but Bruno Della Francesca slotted it home off the left post making it 6-2 in the 63rd minute. Alessio Pelliccioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Akram in the 67th minute of the match. With a little luck, RadioShack-Syracusae's Fabiano Alfani got control of the ball when Alfonso Pasquino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Ettore Di Camillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 7-2 when Sebastian Akram sped through Feletto Umberto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alessio Pelliccioni. After 80 played minutes RadioShack-Syracusae got a freekick which was hit by Diego Ruggeri. RadioShack-Syracusae's Frank Pugliese got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alessio Pelliccioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Pugliese, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute Fausto Palma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio Pelliccioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the RadioShack-Syracusae players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
