If Fabrizio Cristofari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Pesce in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armin Malatesta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ettore Gianfrancesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlo Massaro struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Fausto Ruzzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC SUPERGA. Armin Malatesta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Cristofari in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabrizio Cristofari to strike the kick off in the second half. Ettore Gianfrancesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 61 minutes, Carlo Massaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC SUPERGA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlo Massaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Ruzzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlo Massaro went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Spinetta's Fausto Ruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Gianfrancesco in the 74th minute of play. Daniele Galeone kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Emilio Pesce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Massaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fausto Ruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arrigo De Marco's late challenge caught a Spinetta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arrigo De Marco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 99th match minute, AC SUPERGA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo De Marco to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AC SUPERGA had won after a very even match.
