In the 10thth minute of the game Fausto Romano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aluranazionale's Ferdinando Olmi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aluranazionale's Ferdinando Olmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Galante in the 14th minute of play. Ferdinando Olmi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmondo Galante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Edmondo Galante put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ferdinando Olmi. Fausto Romano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ferdinando Olmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Edmondo Galante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ritortolo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmondo Galante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th match minute, Aluranazionale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Arcari to maneuver through the defense. If Edmondo Galante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Dino Ferrario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felice Cameli. Ritortolo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dino Ferrario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 46th minute, Dino Ferrario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dino Ferrario came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Aluranazionale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Ferrario couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Romano was the one to do the kick off. Dino Ferrario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Cameli having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmine Arpaia in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felice Cameli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmondo Galante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amerigo Tenaglia hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Alberigo Tripodi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ritortolo's Felice Cameli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Ferrario in the 73rd minute of play. Carmine Arpaia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Felice Cameli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Olmi having to interfere. Arrigo Zara lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ritortolo! The referee gave Aluranazionale a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Enrico Terrasi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ritortolo's Felice Cameli. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Fortunato Carrea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ritortolo's supporters rose to their feet, but Fortunato Carrea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinando Olmi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aluranazionale's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
