The referee showed Francesco Gava the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Casavatore's Donato Bolognesi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Donato Bolognesi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Casavatore protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Donato Bolognesi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Casavatore fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! If Comunardo Guadagnoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, Casavatore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Iannotti to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Carlini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Casavatore's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo Guadagnoli came free, but Bianco Facchetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 36th minute of the match Francesco Gava completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Francesco Gava a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Pontoncello AFC's Francesco Gava got a free kick in the 36th minute. Augusto Perilli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Carafa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Carlini in the 43rd minute of the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Carlini made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Bruno Scibilia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casavatore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pontoncello AFC the free kick. Bruno Scibilia kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Bianco Facchetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Comunardo Guadagnoli in the 53rd minute of play. Claudio Carlini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, Pontoncello AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide Di Pasquale to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Scibilia took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonio Carafa. Antonio Carafa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 65 played minutes Casavatore got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Scibilia. After a rather tough play, Pontoncello AFC's Davide Di Pasquale got a free kick in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Casavatore getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Domenico Iannotti hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Bruno Scibilia made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Carafa. Pontoncello AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Bianco Facchetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Comunardo Guadagnoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Comunardo Petrosino kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Fortunato Galante kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
