When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The supporters of F.C. Valnure booed when Persichello FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Mozzoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Benedetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter Rigoni in the 59th minute of the match. Christian Manna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudio Benedetti. Persichello FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Carter Rigoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. Ermanno Firmani might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Benedetti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ermanno Firmani ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th match minute, Persichello FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Bevilacqua to maneuver through the defense. Andrea Di Claudio kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Carter Rigoni managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Valnure's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter Rigoni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Benedetti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. F.C. Valnure had played much better football throughout.
