Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Lencisa's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Di Nardo came free, but Cesare Monzeglio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lencisa's goalkeeper Cesare Monzeglio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cesare Monzeglio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Zoff in the 12th minute of play. In the 19th minute Augusto Zoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Monzeglio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulvio Fava charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulvio Fava the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Acos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulvio Fava to maneuver through the defense. Diego Benarrivo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adriano Gambini. 30 minutes into the game, Alvaro Iob was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lencisa the free kick. The supporters of Lencisa booed when Acos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Iob didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edmondo Romagnoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Lencisa's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Zoff came free, but Cesare Monzeglio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Zoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th match minute, Lencisa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carter Tripodi to maneuver through the defense. If Edmondo Romagnoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lencisa's Enrico Pesce got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes, Acos FC's Domenico Meo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cesare Monzeglio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Acos FC reached it. Augusto Zoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cesare Monzeglio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Edmondo Romagnoli made the kick off in the second half. Edmondo Romagnoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th match minute, Acos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Iob to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Benarrivo having to interfere. Augusto Zoff struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Cesare Monzeglio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acos FC. Fulvio Fava recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Zoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lencisa's Cesare Monzeglio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Lencisa from getting a goal against them. When Fulvio Fava was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. The supporters of Lencisa booed when Acos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Fava didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Acos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Romagnoli to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Lencisa's zone, Augusto Zoff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesare Monzeglio came out of the goal and Augusto Zoff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edmondo Romagnoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Lucchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Zoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Cesare Monzeglio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Zoff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesare Monzeglio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Franco Lucchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Acos FC's Augusto Zoff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cesare Monzeglio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cesare Monzeglio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Lucchetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lencisa succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Acos FC had controlled the match.
