The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Salvagnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Di Tommaso in the 19th minute of the match. When Testana FC's Alex Giordani in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Testana FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Acquaviva AFC were winning 0-1.

Emiliano Pietrantoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Comunardo Alfieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Comunardo Alfieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Emiliano Pietrantoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comunardo Alfieri might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Pietrantoni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Comunardo Alfieri ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Bruno Di Tommaso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acquaviva AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Di Tommaso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesare Salvagnin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Testana FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Acquaviva AFC to win.
