Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carlo Di Natale made the kick off which started today's match. Fausto Liberati's late challenge caught a Borsano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Liberati helped the player get up and apologised. Fausto Liberati kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Eraldo Tomei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borsano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brondolo the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Borsano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Tomei to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match Eraldo Scannella shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonso Baresi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fabiano Mandelli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Angelo Lizzi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Christian Cicchinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Alvise Moretta made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Baresi. Borsano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Davide Domenghini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borsano's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Domenghini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Lizzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Tabacchi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Brondolo's Eraldo Scannella got a free kick in the 38th minute. Fabiano Mandelli missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 40 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Angelo Lizzi right hand side. In the 43rd minute Fabiano Mandelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Lizzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabiano Mandelli in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Lizzi saved Brondolo from getting behind. Fausto Liberati hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Davide Domenghini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borsano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Domenghini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th match minute, Brondolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Liberati to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Fabiano Mandelli in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 69th minute, Frank Tabacchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Brondolo got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Scannella. Christian Cicchinelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Lizzi having to interfere. The supporters of Brondolo booed when Borsano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Tomei didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Eraldo Scannella sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonso Baresi skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Tomei in the 79th minute of play forced Brondolo's goalkeeper Angelo Lizzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Fabiano Mandelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angelo Lizzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Mandelli in the 88th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Frank Tabacchi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borsano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Tabacchi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fabiano Mandelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Borsano manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Brondolo to win.
