Alex Bergamini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Comunardo Cavaliere in the 13th minute of the match. Achille Pezzella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Bergamini having to interfere. If Andrea Di Salvatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrea Di Salvatore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Puce having to make a save. Fabiano Visintin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Comunardo Cavaliere was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Glorie FC's zone, Fabiano Visintin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Bergamini came out of the goal and Fabiano Visintin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ermanno Spitaleri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermanno Spitaleri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Puce having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Comunardo Cavaliere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marechiaro La Gaiola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Comunardo Cavaliere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabiano Visintin scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Bergamini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Marechiaro La Gaiola's Achille Pezzella got a free kick in the 88th minute. When the referee ended the match the Marechiaro La Gaiola players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
