An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Ascenzi in the 3rd minute of play forced Cormano AFC's goalkeeper Daniele Piacentini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Colantonio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniele Piacentini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Daniele Piacentini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Colantonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Polegge's Franco Colantonio in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cormano AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Daniele Piacentini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Franco Colantonio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniele Piacentini. Cormano AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franco Colantonio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Polegge's Cesare Cirulli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Polegge from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franco Colantonio to strike the kick off in the second half. If Edoardo Donadoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emanuele Rosa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. The supporters of Cormano AFC booed when Polegge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesare Cirulli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippo Farese in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Polegge's Davide Ascenzi got a free kick in the 60th minute. Franco De Angelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Polegge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercole Di Palma to maneuver through the defense. Daniele Piacentini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Colantonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 75th minute, Eraldo Alessandro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesare Cirulli came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Cormano AFC's Filippo Farese. But to his dismay, Filippo Farese quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Polegge booed when Cormano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Farese didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Colantonio in the 84th minute of play forced Cormano AFC's goalkeeper Daniele Piacentini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniele Piacentini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Colantonio in the 85th minute of play. Daniele Piacentini stood somewhat misplaced when Aldo Colombo came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 87 minute. Davide Ascenzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniele Piacentini having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Polegge eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
