Bruno Prisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gállico Marina's zone, Achille Trentini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniele Nazzaro came out of the goal and Achille Trentini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radomil Budrewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniele Nazzaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Radomil Budrewicz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 21 minutes into the game, Antonello Pennetta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gállico Marina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Digno the free kick. A collision led to Gállico Marina getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Antonello Pennetta hit a great ball. Gállico Marina's Daniele Nazzaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Gállico Marina from getting a goal against them. Daniele Nazzaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Prisco's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Prisco in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniele Nazzaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniele Nazzaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Prisco in the 29th minute of play. Fulvio Casiraghi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Farese having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Radomil Budrewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniele Nazzaro. Gállico Marina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radomil Budrewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Prisco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruno Prisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Bruno Prisco made a precise shot to the right of Daniele Nazzaro. Gállico Marina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 64 minutes, Radomil Budrewicz made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gállico Marina's Daniele Nazzaro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 67 minutes, Enrico Di Giambattista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gállico Marina and the AC Digno players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 minutes of play Gállico Marina's Antonello Pennetta was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The audience was convinced that Bruno Prisco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniele Nazzaro was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Radomil Budrewicz scored 8-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniele Nazzaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that AC Digno were the better team. AC Digno's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
