In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vallerana AFC's goalkeeper Ferdinando Di Rocco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesco Petrella got free with Emiliano Burgnich in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Arkeyo United's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Cannone came free, but Emiliano Burgnich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinando Di Rocco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Ubelteso in the 15th minute of play. Federico Morelli hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The long shot by Cristiano Frabetti in the 18th minute really tested Emiliano Burgnich's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Frabetti got free with Emiliano Burgnich in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st match minute, Vallerana AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Frabetti to maneuver through the defense. Slawomir Piesciuk's late challenge caught a Vallerana AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Slawomir Piesciuk helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Arkeyo United getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Slawomir Piesciuk hit a great ball. Nello Ceccon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinando Di Rocco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. When Francesco Petrella fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vallerana AFC's protests and gave Francesco Petrella a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Vallerana AFC got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Petrella. Ferdinando Di Rocco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Ubelteso's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Demetrio Cavallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdinando Di Rocco didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Arkeyo United's Igor Ubelteso shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Ubelteso was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Francesco Petrella made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Burgnich. Arkeyo United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Ferdinando Di Rocco came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Arkeyo United's Igor Ubelteso. But to his dismay, Igor Ubelteso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Emiliano Burgnich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Frabetti in the 68th minute of the match. Ferdinando Di Rocco came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Arkeyo United's Slawomir Piesciuk. But to his dismay, Slawomir Piesciuk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The supporters of Vallerana AFC booed when Arkeyo United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Ubelteso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dave Bevilacqua took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Burgnich. Emiliano Burgnich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. 80 minutes into the match, Arkeyo United's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Bevilacqua came free, but Emiliano Burgnich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Ubelteso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ferdinando Di Rocco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Nello Ceccon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ferdinando Di Rocco, passed just outside the right post. Igor Ubelteso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Di Rocco having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Nello Ceccon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arkeyo United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nello Ceccon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute of the match Armin Cirone shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinando Di Rocco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nello Ceccon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arkeyo United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
