Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) In the 7thth minute of the game Damiano Cappucci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlantis FC's Aurelio Molinaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristoforo Cugini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurelio Molinaro. Atlantis FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Alberi's goalkeeper Alex Croce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Comunardo Campitelli. 28 minutes into the match, Atlantis FC's Comunardo Frasca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Croce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fulvio Mussi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fulvio Mussi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Molinaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atlantis FC's zone, Fulvio Mussi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Molinaro came out of the goal and Fulvio Mussi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Damiano Cappucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Molinaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Molinaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damiano Cappucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Comunardo Frasca was the one to do the kick off. Damiano Cappucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fulvio Mussi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Comunardo Frasca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Croce was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Damiano Cappucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Aurelio Molinaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Comunardo Frasca came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Atlantis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Comunardo Frasca couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Francesco Barillari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Atlantis FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Molinaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fulvio Mussi. In the 75th minute, Alberi's Damiano Cappucci ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aurelio Molinaro. Aurelio Molinaro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. 1-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Comunardo Frasca elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Damiano Cappucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Molinaro having to interfere.
