After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Cristiano Danza managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a little luck, Cappuccini's Donato Capuozzi got control of the ball when Anfilogino Basilico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donato Capuozzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Rozzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute of the match, Alessio Rozzi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Donato Capuozzi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Donato Capuozzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Picozzi in the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Amedeo Picozzi made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine De Angelis in the 54th minute of play forced Grange FC's goalkeeper Armando Rotili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Grange FC's zone, Cristiano Danza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Rotili came out of the goal and Cristiano Danza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvise Rocco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Rotili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Alvise Rocco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cappuccini's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvise Rocco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Cappuccini's Carmine De Angelis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armando Rotili. That made the score 0-1 after 74 minutes of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grange FC's goalkeeper Armando Rotili, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cristiano Danza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cappuccini's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
