Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nuova Ostia's Fabiano Romanese suffered a sore thigh after 4 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Codrea's Davide Villa got a free kick in the 5th minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Alfredo Pizziolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nuova Ostia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Pizziolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulius Kavaliūnas struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Concetto Rea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nuova Ostia. When Paulius Kavaliūnas came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Nuova Ostia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulius Kavaliūnas couldn't finish the play. Ermanno Chiavetta hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Paulius Kavaliūnas might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Concetto Rea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulius Kavaliūnas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th match minute, Codrea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Chiavetta to maneuver through the defense. Paulius Kavaliūnas might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Concetto Rea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulius Kavaliūnas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Monti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Codrea's zone, Ronaldinho da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Concetto Rea came out of the goal and Ronaldinho da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Aurelio Monti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Codrea's Concetto Rea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulius Kavaliūnas in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Paulius Kavaliūnas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Concetto Rea was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Paulius Kavaliūnas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Concetto Rea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulius Kavaliūnas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Concetto Rea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Pizziolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alfredo Pizziolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, Nuova Ostia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Di Massa to maneuver through the defense. After 64 minutes of play Codrea's Aurelio Monti was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Paulius Kavaliūnas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Paulius Kavaliūnas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Paulius Kavaliūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulius Kavaliūnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Concetto Rea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Nuova Ostia's Vince Mezei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Codrea's Ciccio Martorella got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Paulius Kavaliūnas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nuova Ostia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match was over Nuova Ostia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Codrea throughout the match.
