The audience was convinced that Ciro Foni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Toninelli was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelio Migliorati to make the kick off. Ciro Foni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Toninelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. If Donato Casiraghi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camillo Talamo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Napoli booed when Inossidabili was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Trombatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Di Mascio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Migliorati in the 83rd minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Inossidabili got a freekick which was hit by Achille La Marca. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
