Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5010, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 30) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Biagio Castellazzi kicked off to start the match. Biagio Castellazzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ercole Di Fonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beppe Salvucci kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Alessio Piccioli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ercole Di Fonzo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvise Di Vincenzo in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elia Lauro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Marengo getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Enrico Pozzo hit a great ball. Alvise Di Vincenzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elia Lauro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Marengo's Alvise Di Vincenzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elia Lauro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Elia Lauro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvise Di Vincenzo went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvise Di Vincenzo to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Alvise Di Vincenzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvise Di Vincenzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elia Lauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elia Lauro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Maccarone in the 56th minute. Alvise Di Vincenzo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elia Lauro came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvise Di Vincenzo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 58th minute. If Biagio Castellazzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Alvise Di Vincenzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Maccarone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Elia Lauro made a huge save. Beppe Salvucci's late challenge caught a Parona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beppe Salvucci helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Palone during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marengo were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Parona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Federico Brandolini took the corner. Marengo's Federico Brandolini was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elia Lauro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bruno Maccarone struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Elia Lauro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marengo. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Alvise Di Vincenzo put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Elia Lauro. Ercole Di Fonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Castellazzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Parona's Elia Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Di Vincenzo in the 95th minute of play. Bruno Maccarone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Lauro having to interfere.
