Ermanno Del Duca kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cosmo FC's Dennis De Iuliis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ciro Fiorentino. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. In the 14th minute Augusto Nicolai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonello Nobili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, one of Pisignano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pisignano. The referee gave Cosmo FC a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Felice Cherubini, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pisignano's Ciro Fiorentino. 2-0. A hard shot 25 in the game by Angelo Chizzo from a close distance when the talented Ciro Fiorentino managed to make a qualified save. Pisignano's players were relieved. Ivan Kerelezov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Fiorentino having to make a save. If Angelo Chizzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felice Cherubini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Fiorentino having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Chizzo in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Fiorentino saved Pisignano from getting behind. In the 45th match minute, Cosmo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Cerri to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Chizzo made a kick off. Ciccio Finocchio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Pisignano's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Kerelezov came free, but Ciro Fiorentino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonello Nobili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Nicolai, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. During the 56th minute of the match Aldo Rossetti completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aldo Rossetti a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 57th minute, Aldo Rossetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Chizzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ciro Fiorentino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Angelo Chizzo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Pisignano's Ciro Fiorentino. Ciro Fiorentino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Cosmo FC booed when Pisignano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciccio Finocchio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Fiorentino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Chizzo went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Angelo Chizzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dario Lavatrice kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Cosmo FC's Felice Cherubini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Fiorentino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Ciro Fiorentino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Chizzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Angelo Chizzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pisignano's Ciro Fiorentino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelo Chizzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Fiorentino having to interfere. Ivan Kerelezov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cosmo FC fully deserved thier win.
