Domenico Parente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Fortunato Goffredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borgo Ticino AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fortunato Goffredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenico Parente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Fortunato Goffredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Frank Combi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Roversano's Domenico Parente. Domenico Parente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, Borgo Ticino AFC's Frank Combi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domenico Parente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Roversano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Damiano Piola was slow to take the kick. During this time Borgo Ticino AFC's players had a chance to rest. Damiano Piola made a great header on Borgo Ticino AFC's corner, it was just that Roversano's Domenico Parente managed to reach the ball for a save. Fortunato Goffredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenico Parente having to interfere. Roversano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corrado Grimaldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edoardo Di Maria made a kick off. Borgo Ticino AFC's Francesco Finocchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Di Maria in the 51st minute of play. Domenico Gaspari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Finocchi having to interfere. Domenico Gaspari charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domenico Gaspari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domenico Gaspari hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fortunato Goffredo in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domenico Parente saved Roversano from getting behind. In the 70th match minute, Roversano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo De Bartolo to maneuver through the defense. Corrado Grimaldi took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francesco Finocchi. Francesco Finocchi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Comunardo Biondi placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Bernardo De Bartolo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Borgo Ticino AFC's Domenico Parente threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fortunato Goffredo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edoardo Di Maria in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Finocchi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute Fortunato Goffredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Parente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Borgo Ticino AFC booed when Roversano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Granati didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes Roversano got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo De Bartolo. With his leg Domenico Parente managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Borgo Ticino AFC's Frank Combi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Fortunato Goffredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
