With an all-out effort, Olmo's Bruno Sacchi threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aurelio Giacomini, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Domina to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Davide Conforti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felice Terrasi. Davide Conforti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Felice Terrasi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davide Conforti in the 56th minute. After 61 played minutes, Caronno Pertusella's Beppe Della Francesca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felice Terrasi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caronno Pertusella reached it. Felice Terrasi made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Davide Conforti sent off a good shot on target. Aurelio Giacomini might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Sacchi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 69th minute, Concetto Palone made a precise shot to the right of Felice Terrasi. Olmo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Fausto Domina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felice Terrasi made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Davide Conforti sent off a good shot on target. Aurelio Giacomini kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Gökhun Tosun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fausto Domina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberigo Maldini kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Bruno Sacchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Di Silvio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes Caronno Pertusella got a freekick which was hit by Beppe Della Francesca. Caronno Pertusella were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Olmo's much stronger midfield.
