Spectators: 5500 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 100) Ganjoni's Alfredo Africano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Ganjoni's Eugenio Juliano got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Edmondo Ferraro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meianiga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Ganjoni getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Federico Ciaccia hit a great ball. When Cosimo Vespucci came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ganjoni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosimo Vespucci couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Meianiga's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Africano came free, but Angelo Di Giovanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Meianiga's Ercole Porro got a free kick in the 13th minute. Ganjoni's Alfredo Africano got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Meianiga's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Africano came free, but Angelo Di Giovanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuele Cesaroni might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosimo Natalucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuele Cesaroni ran back to his position shaking his head. Meianiga's Alvaro Faccio got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Alvaro Faccio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meianiga's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Faccio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosimo Natalucci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuele Cesaroni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosimo Natalucci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Angelo Di Giovanni was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Amedeo Amicone. In the 30th minute, Cosimo Vespucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuele Cesaroni might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosimo Natalucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuele Cesaroni ran back to his position shaking his head. If Alvaro Faccio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 39 minutes into the match, Ganjoni's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Faccio came free, but Cosimo Natalucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuele Cesaroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosimo Natalucci having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Emanuele Cesaroni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meianiga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuele Cesaroni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuele Cesaroni to make the kick off. Alvaro Faccio didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-2 via right post in the game's 52nd minute. Meianiga's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When Bruno Fracassi fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ganjoni's protests and gave Bruno Fracassi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th match minute, Ganjoni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Fracassi to maneuver through the defense. Emanuele Cesaroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosimo Natalucci having to interfere. When Emanuele Cesaroni came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Meianiga fans jumped to their feet. Cosimo Natalucci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Faccio in the 71st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuele Cesaroni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cosimo Natalucci. That made the score 0-3 in the 81 minute of play. Alvaro Faccios short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Cosimo Natalucci to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cosimo Natalucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Negrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Meianiga left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ganjoni.
