Spectators: 6694 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) Coviolo's Fortunato Rosi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Coviolo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Demetrio Ciapponi scored to the left of an out of position Ermanno Palmisano, making the score, 1-0. Fulvio Fantozzi hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Coviolo's Ermanno Palmisano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Ciapponi in the 9th minute of play. Davide Cipolla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ermanno Palmisano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bianco Iacobucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davide Cipolla's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Ermanno Palmisano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Demetrio Ciapponi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Demetrio Ciapponi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermanno Palmisano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mandolossa getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Flavio Ferri hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Mandolossa's Ercole Di Falco got control of the ball when Bianco Iacobucci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flavio Ferri's late challenge caught a Coviolo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Ferri helped the player get up and apologised. Flavio Ferri kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Coviolo's Claudio Marchegiani tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Coviolo's Fortunato Rosi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ercole Di Falco. That made the score 2-1 after 56 minutes of play. Fortunato Rosi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bianco Iacobucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Di Falco having to interfere. If Davide Cipolla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermanno Palmisano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Cipolla in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Demetrio Ciapponi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th match minute, Coviolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Alfonsi to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute of the match Mandolossa got a corner. Coviolo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dino Totaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dino Totaro made a great header on Mandolossa's corner, it was just that Coviolo's Ermanno Palmisano managed to reach the ball for a save. Mandolossa were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Coviolo for a fine match.
