Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 23rd minute, Eugenio Coviello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The R. C. F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Dario Iannucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Adriano Casadei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Fedele Di Fonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. R. C. F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fedele Di Fonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Casadei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriano Casadei made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Eugenio Coviello sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Acciaiolo's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Di Fonzo came free, but Adriano Casadei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Casadei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippo Albertosi in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Fedele Di Fonzo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adriano Casadei. Fedele Di Fonzo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 41st minute, Filippo Albertosi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The R. C. F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.

The wind increased when Filippo Albertosi made the kick off in the second half. Fedele Di Fonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Acciaiolo's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Di Fonzo came free, but Adriano Casadei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedele Di Fonzo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano Casadei saved Acciaiolo from getting behind. After having played for 57 minutes, Eugenio Coviello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. R. C. F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Coviello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62ndth minute of the game Dario Iannucci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acciaiolo's Adriano Casadei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Acciaiolo's Adriano Casadei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Di Fonzo in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute Eugenio Coviello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Casadei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, R. C. F. C.'s Filippo Albertosi made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adriano Casadei was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute, R. C. F. C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Corrado Bussi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dario Iannucci might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Casadei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dario Iannucci ran back to his position shaking his head. Filippo Albertosi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Iannucci in the 80th minute of play forced Acciaiolo's goalkeeper Adriano Casadei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Dario Iannucci put it in 8-1 from a short distance just to the right of Adriano Casadei. When the referee ended the match the R. C. F. C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
