Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carlo Bondi took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, Altri Tempi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Finocchio to maneuver through the defense. If Demetrio Finocchio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Bondi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Carlo Bondi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Corrado Petrocchi, 1-0. Arrigo De Nicola hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Damiani got free with Corrado Petrocchi in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Altri Tempi's Camillo Berardi got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 32 played minutes Kroton got a freekick which was hit by Donato Malvezzi. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Damiano Di Gaetano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altri Tempi's supporters rose to their feet, but Damiano Di Gaetano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrico Di Leonardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute Demetrio Finocchio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Di Leonardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Florian Guadagnoli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Altri Tempi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Demetrio Finocchio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Altri Tempi's Demetrio Finocchio got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Carlo Bondi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Demetrio Finocchio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Enrico Di Leonardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Fulvio Lucentini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kroton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altri Tempi the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florian Guadagnoli in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrico Di Leonardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Altri Tempi's zone, Carlo Bondi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corrado Petrocchi came out of the goal and Carlo Bondi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Enzo Damiani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kroton's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Damiani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corrado Petrocchi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camillo Berardi during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kroton booed when Altri Tempi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Berardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Altri Tempi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dino Barillari was slow to take the kick. During this time Kroton's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Kroton's Dino Barillari to fire away a dangerous shot which Corrado Petrocchi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Enrico Di Leonardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Guadagnoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camillo Berardi kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Corrado Petrocchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Damiani in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Carlo Bondi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Petrocchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Florian Guadagnoli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altri Tempi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kroton the free kick. A collision led to Altri Tempi getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Florian Guadagnoli hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Altri Tempi's zone, Enzo Damiani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After having played for 92 minutes, Demetrio Finocchio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altri Tempi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Demetrio Finocchio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cesare Palombi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Altri Tempi players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
