REAL BURUNDY's zone, Fulvio De Vincentis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Fontana came out of the goal and Fulvio De Vincentis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Ernesto Violento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd match minute, SSC.CESA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Tarantini to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Frank Strazzabosco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Cameli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.S.C. REAL BURUNDY's Donato Fontana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save A.S.C. REAL BURUNDY from getting a goal against them. Alberto Rivera kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half A.S.C. REAL BURUNDY were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Tullo to strike the kick off in the second half. Federico Tullo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Amerigo Cameli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Fontana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio De Vincentis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. SSC.CESA's Amerigo Cameli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save SSC.CESA from getting a goal against them. Federico Tullo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amerigo Cameli having to make a save. Carmine Tucci hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Ciccio Coviello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Fontana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Frank Strazzabosco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. REAL BURUNDY booed when SSC.CESA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Violento didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.S.C. REAL BURUNDY's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
