The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrea Amadei in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Aquilino saved Forza Bellaria from getting behind. Ciro Caligaris kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Anthony Lupi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Variney FC's Anthony Lupi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Aquilino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Variney FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Anthony Serantoni hit a great ball. After 22 minutes, Andrea Amadei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Variney FC and the Forza Bellaria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Andrea Amadei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexander Ciccarelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Aquilino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Enzo Cucci hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Alexander Ciccarelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Forza Bellaria's Federico Aquilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Lupi in the 41st minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Anthony Lupi made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Forza Bellaria's zone, Alexander Ciccarelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Aquilino came out of the goal and Alexander Ciccarelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Federico Aquilino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Lupi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Alexander Ciccarelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anthony Lupi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Aquilino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Forza Bellaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Cucci to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Alexander Ciccarelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anthony Lupi might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Aquilino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthony Lupi ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the match, Forza Bellaria's goalkeeper Federico Aquilino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Ciccarelli. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Anthony Lupi put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Federico Aquilino. Alexander Ciccarelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Federico Aquilino made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Variney FC's Alexander Ciccarelli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Federico Aquilino. That made the score 0-2 after 85 minutes of play.
