Franklin Holzner was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alberto Mancini. Bruno Leone's late challenge caught a Mardimago FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Leone helped the player get up and apologised. Dino Marchegiani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Franklin Holzner made a huge save. 3-0 became the score in the 28th minute when Wiktor Kihlman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dino Marchegiani took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franklin Holzner. Franklin Holzner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Dino Marchegiani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Franklin Holzner made a huge save. Alessandro Di Paolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute of the match, Armin Vasco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franklin Holzner saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Franklin Holzner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Kihlman in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Dino Marchegiani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mardimago FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Beppe Damiani made the kick off in the second half. Beppe Damiani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Federico Giordani made a huge save. Franklin Holzner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Kihlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Marchegiani kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Bruno Leone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franklin Holzner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Marchegiani in the 63rd minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Dino Marchegiani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mardimago FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Marchegiani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Mardimago FC's Alessandro Di Paolo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin Holzner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Dario Reali hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Dino Marchegiani took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franklin Holzner. Franklin Holzner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Bianco Santacroce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute Dino Marchegiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Holzner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Mancini kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Franklin Holzner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Marchegiani, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Alessandro Di Paolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
