Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wolves of S.Vetturino's Comunardo Improta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Wolves of S.Vetturino's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Bartolucci came free, but Dave Tacco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Alfredo Lucchetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Musacchio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corrado Del Duca kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessio Monzeglio during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alessio Monzeglio hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Donato Palone, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Arrigo Zola scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dave Tacco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabiano Musacchio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Comunardo Improta in the 23rd minute of play. Armando Facchetti took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano Musacchio. Fabiano Musacchio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Donato Palone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moruri's Fabiano Musacchio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Moruri from getting a goal against them. Comunardo Improta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Fabiano Musacchio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Moruri's Ernesto Pascucci got a free kick in the 41st minute.

Alfredo Lucchetti kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Donato Palone sped through Wolves of S.Vetturino's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dave Tacco. In the 57th minute, Armando Facchetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moruri's Donato Palone got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Moruri's zone, Alessio Monzeglio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Musacchio came out of the goal and Alessio Monzeglio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Wolves of S.Vetturino booed when Moruri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Disastro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiano Musacchio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Comunardo Improta in the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Moruri's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Monzeglio came free, but Fabiano Musacchio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Wolves of S.Vetturino booed when Moruri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Sessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiano Musacchio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Lucchetti in the 74th minute of the match. Comunardo Improta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Fabiano Musacchio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arrigo Zola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Monzeglio in the 84th minute of play forced Moruri's goalkeeper Fabiano Musacchio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Donato Palone took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Dave Tacco to make any attempt to save it. Comunardo Improta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Sessa kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Eraldo Venditti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabiano Musacchio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Moruri eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
