Cesare Martini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Frank Del Duca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bianco Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Trombatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercole Buccella, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Lessona Hennessey's Ercole Buccella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Trombatore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bianco Loreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alex Trombatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Colaneri charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domenico Colaneri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lessona Hennessey's Beppe Lucantoni was substituted for Arrigo Di Nino. In the 27th minute, Domenico Colaneri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Trombatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Moreschi in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Lessona Hennessey were awarded a corner. Alvise Perilli went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 30th minute, Ercole Buccella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Trombatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Buccella in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Ercole Buccella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Trombatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bianco Loreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Trombatore having to interfere. Ercole Buccella took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Trombatore. Alex Trombatore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ercole Buccella in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Trombatore saved Serenissima FC from getting behind. Beppe Lucantoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alex Trombatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ercole Buccella to make the kick off. Ercole Buccella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Trombatore having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Serenissima FC's zone, Ercole Buccella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Trombatore came out of the goal and Ercole Buccella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ercole Buccella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Trombatore having to interfere. Bianco Loreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Bianco Loreto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Trombatore. That made the score 0-3 in the 60 minute of play. Serenissima FC's Alex Trombatore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Serenissima FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Di Croce during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes Serenissima FC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Di Croce. Armando Tondi hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Bianco Loreto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Alex Trombatore skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lessona Hennessey's Bianco Loreto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alex Trombatore. That made the score 0-4 after 74 minutes of play. In the 78th minute, Ercole Buccella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Trombatore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvise Perilli in the 79th minute. Frank Del Duca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenico Colaneri went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Serenissima FC's Alex Trombatore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Serenissima FC from getting a goal against them. Alex Trombatore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bianco Loreto in the 84th minute. The supporters of Serenissima FC booed when Lessona Hennessey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Buccella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Trombatore made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Beppe Lucantoni sent off a good shot on target. When Diego Cinalli fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Serenissima FC's protests and gave Diego Cinalli a yellow card for diving instead. Diego Cinalli kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Serenissima FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lessona Hennessey were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
