The supporters of Formigosa FC booed when Real eli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Firmani didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Real eli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Grifoni should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabiano Ceccarelli to make the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Damiano Nazzaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Damiano Nazzaro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 79 minutes into the match, Damiano Nazzaro notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Formigosa FC's Fabiano Marinacci. Fabiano Marinacci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabiano Marinacci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damiano Nazzaro in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Real eli's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Mancinelli came free, but Eugenio Grifoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes Formigosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Morelli. Real eli's Emanuele Di Natale couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Formigosa FC. Ferruccio Di Lello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Marinacci having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Formigosa FC's Ennio Lopez got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the match was over Real eli could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Formigosa FC throughout the match.
