After 13 played minutes, Tribola's Damiano Pili shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elia Natalucci came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tribola reached it. Ciro Orioli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dennis Panza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Orioli might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Panza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Orioli ran back to his position shaking his head. Dennis Panza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ciro Orioli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Ciro Orioli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Panza having to interfere. When Alvise Di Leonardo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Prenastae fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvise Di Leonardo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Prenastae's zone, Damiano Galli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elia Natalucci came out of the goal and Damiano Galli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Di Giovanni scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elia Natalucci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Tribola's Damiano Galli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elia Natalucci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Damiano Galli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Tribola's Angelo Di Giovanni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elia Natalucci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Prenastae players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tribola were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damiano Galli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Tribola's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Orioli came free, but Dennis Panza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Frank Cara in the 56th minute really tested Elia Natalucci's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Prenastae's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Damiano Galli 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. In the 68th minute, Camillo Briganti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Damiano Galli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Augusto Marcelli fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prenastae's protests and gave Augusto Marcelli a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Marcelli kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Prenastae's Ciro Orioli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Panza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. If Ciro Orioli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute.
